I gave blood this week end as many of us do. I always hate the needle. This time, however, they accidentally punctured a vein so it was more painful than usual, bled a lot and ended up swelling some. As my wife will attest, I have No pain tolerance (her words…”WIMP”) which, I admit, is true. I was feeling sorry for myself as I sometimes do, but then I thought for a moment……….
How painful it must have been when they drove large spikes into Jesus’ hands and feet………………………..
I stopped feeling sorry for myself.
Praise to you O Lord Jesus Christ.

November 17th, 2009 10:54 pmThat’’s really true that our Lord Jesus Christ suffered something that way too hard to digest and even to imagine. I got to fully realize the intensity and magnitude of the punishment He suffered when I watched the movie “The Passion of the Christ”.
